FIJI Water, the leading premium imported bottled water brand in the United States, has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering business excellence in Fiji by continuing its role as the Supreme Award sponsor for the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards (PMIBA) 2025, organized by Investment Fiji. This partnership, which has been in place since 2017, highlights FIJI Water’s dedication to honoring outstanding businesses in Fiji.
At a sponsorship signing event, Investment Fiji’s deputy board chairman, Mark Halabe, expressed appreciation for FIJI Water’s consistent support. He noted that their sponsorship of the Supreme Award not only bolsters the awards’ credibility but also reflects a mutual commitment to recognizing business accomplishments within the country. “We are proud to have them remain by our side as a key partner for the 8th consecutive year,” said Halabe.
The Supreme Award is the highest honor at the PMIBA and is awarded based on exceptional commercial performance, international growth, innovation, job creation, sustainability, and significant community impact. Craig Cooper, executive vice president and general counsel of FIJI Water, commented on the alignment of their sponsorship with the values of sustainability and economic empowerment. “Our sponsorship is a way of supporting organizations that raise the bar and inspire others,” he stated.
This year’s awards, themed “Navigating Global Winds: Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth,” will include 15 categories, celebrating businesses of various sizes across numerous sectors. Notable categories encompass the Premier Small, Medium, and Large Business Operating Internationally Awards, Excellence in Innovation, Excellence in E-Commerce Transformation, Best Sustainability Initiative, and Employer of the Year Award. Additionally, Recognition Awards will be conferred to business leaders in the diaspora who have made significant international achievements and invested in Fiji’s economic development.
Businesses interested in participating in the PMIBA 2025 are encouraged to submit their applications, which close on July 25, 2025. This initiative not only seeks to honor current business success but aims to inspire future innovations within Fiji’s vibrant business landscape.
