The Australian team has climbed up one spot, moving ahead of Italy, who let slip a 10-point lead to lose 33-25 against Samoa in Apia.
At the top of the rankings, South Africa extended their lead over Ireland by 4.49 points following a 27-20 win against the Guinness Men’s Six Nations champions in Pretoria.
New Zealand narrowly defeated England 16-15, resulting in a slim margin of just a quarter of a point between Ireland and the All Blacks, who are in second and third place, respectively.
