During a captain’s run held in Tonga yesterday, the team appeared to be in excellent condition. Captain Tevita Ikanivere expressed confidence in his team’s preparations, emphasizing their readiness to take on the physical nature of the game, which he believes is essential for momentum in matches against other South Pacific teams. Ikanivere stated, “We know we have prepared well, so we can match Tonga’s physicality and hopefully come out on top.”
The captain also called on local fans and supporters to attend the game, promising an exciting clash between the two island nations.
