Scotland’s head coach Gregor Townsend is fully aware of the strength and resilience embodied by the FIJI Water Flying Fijians as they gear up for a highly anticipated Test match in July in Suva. The Flying Fijians will first face the Wallabies in Australia on July 6 before hosting Scotland, and will also compete against Tonga in the Pacific Nations Cup opener on August 30. Fiji’s historical performance against Scotland has been mixed, having won only two of their previous encounters, including significant victories on home soil. Their last meeting ended in defeat when Scotland triumphed 57-17 during the Autumn Nations Test Series.
