Netball Fiji has announced the final squad of 12 players selected to represent the Fiji Men’s Netball Team at the upcoming Singapore Men’s Nations Cup, scheduled to take place from December 2 to 8. Head coach Jioweli Vakamoce explained that the selection process was rigorous, focusing on various criteria including players’ individual skills, performance, commitment to training, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
“The team is currently in the final preparation stages and is committed to hard work,” Vakamoce noted. During a recent training session held on a public holiday, the team dedicated their time from 7 AM to 10 AM to honing their court skills. Phase three of their training includes full-length games every Saturday, following activation and strength training workouts which are also intensifying.
Vivian Koster, the CEO of Netball Fiji, expressed her enthusiasm for the growth of the Men’s program and urged fans to rally behind the team as they aim for success on the international stage.
