President Ramesh Bihari highlighted that this festival, recognized in the Hindu calendar, signifies a week-long commemoration culminating today, a day filled with peace and unity for all participants. “Today it was the Ram Naumi festival, Ram Naumi Utsav, celebrated every year in April, marking God’s birthday and embodying the message of happiness and harmony,” she stated.
Residents, like Anjala Prasad from Bulileka, shared sentiments reflecting on the blessings of the day, indicating that such gatherings symbolize new beginnings filled with prosperity. “Our scriptures tell us that when our Lord is born, harmony prevails, inviting everyone—Hindus and non-Hindus alike—to unite in celebration for peace and happiness,” she noted.
In line with previous reflections, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, emphasized Lord Rama’s teachings in a recent message during the Ram Naumi celebrations, resonating the importance of integrity, truth, and cooperation among diverse communities.
