This alert specifically targets the eastern half of Viti Levu, encompassing areas from Serua–Namosi to Navua–Suva–Nausori, extending to Tailevu–Naitasiri–Ra.
A flash flood alert is also prevalent in the Northern Division, where the authorities have raised concerns about worsening conditions should the rainfall continue. Meteorologists report that a trough of low pressure remains stationary over Fiji, leading to persistent cloud cover, showers, and periods of heavy rain that are expected to last until tomorrow.
