The Fiji Under-19 netball team wrapped up a three-match series against Aotearoa Māori Netball, with the visitors winning all three encounters. Despite the defeats, Fiji’s young athletes gained significant experience and exposure on their development path.
In the opening match, Aotearoa Māori showcased strong performance, achieving a commanding 74-29 victory. Fiji demonstrated improvement in the second match but ultimately lost a hard-fought game 55-44. The final match concluded the series with Aotearoa Māori securing a 70-30 win at the FNU Gymnasium.
Although the outcomes did not favor Fiji, the series offered essential learning experiences for the Under-19 team as they work towards their future development.
