The Fiji Under-19 netball team recently wrapped up a three-match series against the Aotearoa Māori Netball team, with the visitors winning all three encounters.
Despite the losses, Fiji’s young netball players gained essential experience and exposure as part of their development. In the opening match, Aotearoa Māori showcased their strength, claiming a convincing 74-29 victory.
Fiji demonstrated progress in the second match, though they ultimately lost 55-44 in a thrilling game. The series concluded with Aotearoa Māori sealing their success with a 70-30 win at the FNU Gymnasium.
While the results were not favorable for Fiji, the competition offered a significant learning experience for the Under-19 squad as they work towards their future goals.
