The Fiji Under-19 netball team recently completed a three-match series against Aotearoa Māori Netball, with the visiting team winning all three games.
Despite the setbacks, Fiji’s young players gained essential experience and development during the series. In the opener, Aotearoa Māori showcased their strength, winning decisively with a score of 74-29. The second match saw Fiji improve their performance, though they ultimately lost 55-44 in a thrilling game. In the concluding match, Aotearoa Māori sealed the series with a comprehensive 70-30 victory at the FNU Gymnasium.
Though the outcomes were not favorable for Fiji, the series served as a crucial learning experience for the Under-19 team as they prepare for future challenges.
