The Fiji Under-19 netball team finished a three-match series against Aotearoa Māori Netball, with the visiting team winning all three games. Despite the defeats, Fiji’s young players gained important experience and exposure on their developmental path.
In the opening match, Aotearoa Māori dominated, achieving a significant 74-29 victory. Fiji demonstrated improvement in the second game but ultimately lost 55-44 in a closely contested match. The final encounter saw Aotearoa Māori conclude the series with a 70-30 win at the FNU Gymnasium.
Although the outcomes were not favorable for Fiji, the competition served as a crucial learning opportunity for the Under-19 team as they continue to build towards the future.
