The draw for the championship occurred at the OFC Home of Football, Te Kahu o Kiwa, in Auckland, New Zealand. The defending champions, New Zealand, and host nation Tahiti have been placed in Group B, along with New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

Scheduled to be held in Tahiti from September 21 to October 4, 2025, this tournament will showcase some of the finest young talents in women’s football in Oceania. Before the main event, Tonga will host a qualifying tournament from March 7 to 13, during which the final team for the championship will be determined.

The Fiji Young Kulas are currently in training camp at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa, where head coach Angeline Chua emphasizes the importance of building team cohesion, enhancing tactical awareness, and refining both individual and collective skills among players. Chua believes that this rigorous preparation is essential for the team’s performance in the championship.

This event presents an exciting opportunity for the Fiji Young Kulas, allowing them to compete at a higher level and potentially advance to the finals. The championship not only serves as a competitive platform but also highlights the growing interest in women’s football across the Oceania region, fostering the development and visibility of female athletes.
