Fiji U19 player Raul Chandra netted two goals as Nasinu secured a 2-0 victory over Tailevu Naitaisiri in the second Premier Division semifinal of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Chandra, son of former Suva and Ba forward Ronald Lawrence, scored in both halves, leading to an upset against Tailevu Naitaisiri, who had been unbeaten and the most consistent team in the division prior to the semifinal match.
With this win, Nasinu will advance to face Tavua in the grand final scheduled for 12:30 PM tomorrow.
