Following a 2-1 win over Tahiti, head coach Sunil Kumar expressed his belief in the team’s significant improvements throughout the tournament. Despite challenges during the pool matches, Kumar remains optimistic about the boys’ abilities. “We didn’t receive many positive remarks for the pool match because our performance was lacking, but we knew the boys could do better, and I am very proud of their effort,” Kumar stated.
