Fiji U-16 Squad Eyes Victory in Crucial Showdown Against Samoa!

Fiji U-16 Junior Kulas head coach Marika Rodu expressed their goal of securing the top spot in their pool with a crucial match remaining against Samoa in the OFC U-16 Women’s Championships. Currently, Fiji has recorded one win and one draw, totaling four points, while Samoa leads with six points from two victories.

“The girls fought hard to keep our hopes alive for topping the pool. Moving forward, it’s crucial that we score and win the upcoming game against Samoa,” said Rodu after yesterday’s match against the Cook Islands.

Rodu added that the team learned valuable lessons from their match against Tonga, made several adjustments, and showed improved performance. “We aim to grow game by game,” she stated.

Fiji’s next match against Samoa is scheduled for Saturday at 3 PM at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
