Fiji’s U-16 Junior Kulas head coach, Marika Rodu, expressed the team’s goal of finishing at the top of their pool as they prepare for a crucial match against Samoa in the OFC U-16 Women’s Championships. Currently, Fiji has one win and one draw, totaling four points, while Samoa leads with six points from two wins.
Rodu stated that the team fought hard to keep their chances alive for topping the pool and emphasized the importance of scoring and winning against Samoa in their upcoming match. After their recent game against the Cook Islands, Rodu noted that they learned valuable lessons from their previous match against Tonga, made necessary adjustments, and saw an improvement in performance.
The decisive match between Fiji and Samoa is scheduled for Saturday at 3 PM at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
