ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards opens registration for 2025 season
The ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) has officially opened registrations and applications for the 2025 awards, announced at a launch event held at Coffee Hub in Nadi. FETA Chair Debra Sadranu confirmed the application window runs for three months and closes on 18 October 2025, and she stressed that no deadline extensions will be granted. Applicants are urged to carefully review the eligibility requirements for each category before submitting.
Sadranu highlighted that the awards’ assessment criteria are structured to encourage entries from across the full spectrum of the tourism industry, providing maximum opportunity for all operators to participate. She also noted that FETA continues to reinvest in upgrades to the online application portal to make the submission process more convenient and accessible.
At the launch, Rosie Holidays—an established tourism services and transport operator—was inducted into the FETA Hall of Fame after winning the C&I Operator of the Year award for three consecutive years. This marks Rosie Holidays’ second induction into the Hall of Fame; they were first honoured in 2018. The FETA Hall of Fame, established in 2017, recognises operators who achieve three straight wins in a category.
Organisers acknowledged the support of sponsors including ANZ, Tappoos, Fiji Gas, Vodafone, Fiji Airports, Encore ANZPAC, Rosie Holidays, Marsh, Fiji Water, Jacks of Fiji, Havas, and Vision Investments, and welcomed My Fiji as a Gold Level sponsor and Fiji Airways as a Silver sponsor. FETA credited sponsor support for enabling the awards to celebrate excellence across Fiji’s tourism sector.

Additional comments and tips for applicants
– Read category eligibility and assessment criteria carefully before applying; mismatches are a common cause of disqualification.
– Start early and gather supporting evidence now: guest feedback, occupancy and performance data, sustainability initiatives, staff training records, photos and videos, and any certifications.
– Use the upgraded portal well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
– Emphasise demonstrable outcomes—examples of innovation, guest experience improvements, and measurable sustainability actions strengthen entries.
– Consider collaborating with local partners (community groups, suppliers) where relevant to show broader impact.
