Four teams from Fiji will vie for the Netball championship at the 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney next weekend. The teams—Suva, Labasa Tuva, and Nasinu—will compete against eight other teams from Australia and New Zealand.
Suva is placed in Group A alongside Liverpool Flames, Sydney Warriors Orange, and NZ Team Bula. Labasa is in Group B with Melbourne Amazon, Sydney Warriors, and NZ Highbrook. Group C features Liverpool, Auckland Ferns, Tuva, and Nasinu.
The tournament will kick off with 18 group matches, leading to the advance of the top eight teams to the quarterfinals. The one-day event is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex courts 1 and 2.
Additionally, the Rams Group of Companies’ 10th Sanatan World Cup will commence on Thursday, September 26, with the football competition.
