Sivoni Ligaiviu, a dedicated educator from Kadavu Provincial Secondary School, is expressing his gratitude towards Fiji National University (FNU) for its innovative blended learning classes that enabled him to earn a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) with a specialization in Industrial Arts. Living in the remote region of Kadavu, Ligaiviu took advantage of FNU’s online courses to successfully complete his studies.
Hailing from Solotavui Village in Kadavu and with family roots in Waitovu Village, Ovalau, Ligaiviu remains committed to enhancing his professional qualifications. “I’ve always prioritized upgrading my qualifications. As a teacher in Kadavu, my graduation today was made possible through the online classes offered by FNU,” he stated.
Determined to further his education, Ligaiviu has already begun his postgraduate studies and aspires to one day earn a PhD. He emphasizes the importance of continual learning, expressing his goal to achieve his postgraduate qualification by December of the following year.
