The World Surf League (WSL) is thrilled to announce the return of the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro to Fiji, featuring an expanded lineup of both local and international partners.

As they prepare for Stop No. 9 of this year’s Championship Tour (CT), WSL is collaborating with several new partners from Fiji alongside their existing global sponsors. Andrew Stark, WSL APAC President, expressed enthusiasm about these developments.

“The WSL is eager to return to Fiji this year, and we are proud to announce our collaboration with more Fijian partners than ever before,” Stark remarked. “Partnering with businesses from Fiji will help deliver excellent results for the event, our athletes, and, most importantly, the Fijian people, who are crucial in making this happen. We are grateful to our new and current partners for embracing this journey with us back to Fiji and eagerly anticipate the CT’s return to Cloudbreak this August.”

Corona will serve as the title partner for the event, while Bonsoy has been named the presenting partner. Jack’s of Fiji will be the Official Apparel Partner, providing exclusive merchandise that will be sold at a pop-up store located at Denarau Harbour.

Fiji Airways has been designated the Official Airline and will be prominently featured in on-site signage and broadcasts, showcasing the surf equipment used by competitors. The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation will ensure comprehensive coverage, allowing viewers in Fiji to watch the event live on free-to-air channels.

“Fiji Airways has partnered with the WSL to become the Official Airline of the Corona Fiji Pro Presented by Bonsoy. The airline will be represented throughout the event, including the ‘Fiji Airways Board Check-in’ initiative, which will highlight the surfers’ gear and inspire fans to plan their next surf trip to Fiji,” Stark added.
