Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka engaged in bilateral talks with Papua New Guinea’s Prime Minister James Marape and Tongan Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku during the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting yesterday.

In his discussion with PM Marape, PM Rabuka emphasized Fiji’s dedication to collaborating closely with Papua New Guinea to fulfill common goals. They covered the topic of reopening Fiji’s Diplomatic Mission in PNG and explored ways to enhance climate resilience within the region.

With PM Hu’akavameiliku, PM Rabuka expressed Fiji’s support for Tonga’s leadership and extended his best wishes for the upcoming week. They also explored options to reinforce their bilateral ties.
