Fiji Strengthens Defense for World Cup Qualifiers with Key Additions

Two defenders from London have been added to the extended 29-member squad of the Bula Boys for the upcoming matches in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Oceania Qualifiers. Scott Wara, who plays for Stafford Rangers, and Josh Qereqeretabua from Charlton Athletic, both of whom have previously represented Fiji in youth World Cups, will bolster the team’s defense.

The squad also includes several other overseas players, such as Captain Roy Krishna, Nabil Begg based in Auckland, Wellington’s Mohammed Raheem, and Gabiriele Matanisiga. Additionally, goalkeeper Jerome Narayan and midfielder Leroy Jennings are both currently playing in Sydney.
