Telecom Fiji has teamed up with global ICT security solutions provider Allot Communications to launch the first network-based cybersecurity solutions tailored for businesses in Fiji. This partnership positions Telecom Fiji as one of the pioneers in the region to offer such innovative cyber protection services.
In an announcement this week, Telecom Fiji highlighted that the new solution aims to protect businesses from a wide range of cyber threats. These threats range from malware attacks that can disrupt operations and compromise data, to ransomware that encrypts essential information and demands ransom for its release, as well as phishing attempts targeting login credentials and personal data, and harmful websites that can infect devices or steal information.
Charles Goundar, the CEO of Telecom Fiji, stated, “We recognize the growing need for advanced security solutions in today’s digital world.” He emphasized that the partnership with Allot allows them to deliver a strong and reliable cybersecurity solution, keeping operations and data secure against various cyber threats.
Telecom Fiji’s platform will provide unified and managed cybersecurity solutions that work seamlessly at the network level, offering businesses an extra layer of defense against potential threats.
Dr. Weiming Li, Allot’s Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific, noted that this collaboration will introduce Allot Secure to businesses and communities in Fiji. He remarked that their network-based threat protection solution is crafted to provide comprehensive security, allowing businesses to operate with assurance and resilience against increasingly advanced cyber threats.
The solution is now available for purchase through Telecom Fiji.
