Fiji Soars Over Tonga in Thrilling 50-19 Victory!

The Flying Fijians triumphed over Tonga with a score of 50-19 in their Pacific Nations Cup match in Tonga this afternoon.

Fiji started strong, quickly establishing dominance with three early tries from Iosefo Masi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Elia Canakaivata within just ten minutes, setting a robust tone for the match.

However, the game took a significant turn when Fiji’s Adrea Cocagi received a red card, granting Tonga a chance to regain control. The Tongan team took advantage of their extra player, scoring three consecutive tries.

Nevertheless, Fiji was able to extend their lead right before halftime, heading into the break with a score of 26-19.

In the second half, Fiji’s defense tightened, effectively neutralizing Tonga’s attempts to score. The Fijian offense continued to build on their lead, adding three more tries and ultimately overpowering the Tongan side.
