Fiji Soars High: A Thrilling Victory Over Tonga in Pacific Nations Cup

The Flying Fijians triumphed over Tonga with a score of 50-19 in their Pacific Nations Cup match held in Tonga this afternoon.

Fiji made an explosive start, securing three quick tries from Iosefo Masi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Elia Canakaivata within the first ten minutes, establishing an early lead.

The game took a turn when Fiji’s Adrea Cocagi received a red card, granting Tonga a chance to get back into the match.

Taking advantage of the extra player, the Tongan team scored three consecutive tries.

However, Fiji responded by extending their lead just before halftime, ending the first half at 26-19.

In the second half, Fiji’s defense tightened, effectively neutralizing Tonga’s attempts to score.
