The Miss Universe Fiji 2024 Gala Crowning Function took place on Friday, September 30, at The Pearl Resort & Spa in Pacific Harbour. The title was awarded to 24-year-old Manshika Prasad from Lakena Nausori. The runners-up were 23-year-old Susan Ranadi from Ekubu and 30-year-old Nadine Roberts.
This event marked Fiji’s significant return to the Miss Universe competition after a 43-year hiatus. The evening included a glamorous red carpet, pre-event drinks, a buffet dinner, and performances by the Vou Dance Group and Bitz n Pieces Band, along with three fashion parades.
Various category awards were handed out during the night, with notable winners including Susan Ranadi, who took home the Best Catwalk award, and Nadine Roberts, who won both the Best Evening Gown and Miss Social Media titles. The celebration ended with a spectacular fireworks display.
Throughout the event, finalists engaged in fashion shoots and exclusive dinners hosted at The Pearl Resort. The official partners for Miss Universe Fiji 2024 included LUX Projects Fiji, The Pearl Resort & Spa, along with numerous other organizations in the fashion, charity, and hospitality sectors.
The newly crowned winner, Manshika Prasad, will represent Fiji at the Miss Universe International Final in Mexico City in mid-November.
