Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is contemplating the inclusion of the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. While many players will compete for their clubs in upcoming events, there is a possibility for the national team to participate if the schedule allows.
Kolinisau noted that strength tests are already being conducted as part of the team’s foundation for the 2025 series. The coach aims to incorporate younger players into the squad, recognizing the developmental advantages that local competitions provide.
“If our schedule permits, we may take part in one or two tournaments. We have many young talents joining us, and this would be an opportunity to integrate them into our development,” he explained.
