Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is exploring the option of entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. While many players will be participating in upcoming club competitions, there remains a possibility for the national team to compete if time allows.
Kolinisau stated, “We’re already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series.” He emphasized the importance of integrating younger players into the team, recognizing the developmental advantages that local competitions can provide.
“If our schedule permits, we might engage in one or two tournaments. We have numerous young players coming in, and it’s an opportunity to include some of these emerging talents in our development,” he concluded.
