Fresh from their triumphant title victory in Singapore, the Fiji Airways men’s rugby sevens team has been placed in a highly competitive pool for the upcoming fourth round of the HSBC SVNS tournament in Perth. This next round is set to take place on February 7–8, 2026, with the draw being conducted by England rugby legend Danny Care during the current season’s third stop in Singapore.

As Fiji basked in the glory of their dramatic win against France in the finals, the focus quickly shifted towards the challenges that lie ahead in Australia. In Pool A, the newly crowned Singapore champions will face strong opponents, including South Africa, Spain, and Argentina, promising intense match-ups when the tournament commences next weekend.

Meanwhile, the losing finalists from Singapore, France, find themselves in a demanding Pool B, where they will compete against New Zealand, the host nation Australia, and Great Britain, setting up another highly contested stage of the tournament.

In the women’s competition, the champions from Singapore, New Zealand, enter Pool A alongside the USA, Fiji, and Japan. The disappointed finalists from Australia will battle it out in Pool B against Canada, France, and Great Britain.

The Perth round serves as a crucial juncture in the season, allowing teams to harness momentum from the thrilling action displayed during the Singapore Sevens, highlighting the dynamic and competitive spirit of rugby in the series.
