Osea Kolinisau has been officially appointed to continue as the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team for the next four years, leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. This decision follows extensive discussions with coaches, team managers, and captains, alongside an independent review.
Peter Mazey, the Interim Chairman of the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU), commented that Kolinisau’s impressive performance in recent months has highlighted his capability and vision.
“He has major plans moving forward, which he will share in due course. We are excited about the potential of our men’s Sevens team under his continued leadership and are committed to pursuing gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics,” stated Mazey.
