OSEA Kolinisau, the head coach of the Fiji Airways men’s sevens team, has welcomed two new players into his training camp following the recent conclusion of the Fiji Bitter Kadavu 7s tournament. The selected players are George Bose from the BLK Lavidi Brothers and Alusio Vakadranu of Wardens Gold, both of whom showcased their talents during the event held from the 17th to the 19th of this month.
This marks the first time Bose has joined the national squad, while Vakadranu returns after previously representing Fiji in last season’s HSBC Sevens World Series. Kolinisau attended the tournament in Kadavu and expressed his gratitude to Fiji Bitter for their unwavering support and dedication to developing grassroots rugby in Fiji.
“It was a pleasure to witness the opening of the Fiji Bitter 7s series, and I am thankful to Fiji Bitter for their ongoing support of grassroots rugby,” Kolinisau stated. He also acknowledged the challenging weather conditions that impacted the tournament’s activities.
