Fiji Sets Its Sights on a Digitally Connected Future with New Strategic Plan

The Telecommunications Authority of Fiji (TAF) recently marked a significant milestone in Suva with the unveiling of its inaugural five-year strategic plan, covering the period from 2025 to 2029. The launch event, held at Tanoa Plaza, featured Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communications Manoa Kamikamica as the chief guest.

This strategic plan encompasses four essential pillars: Regulatory Effectiveness, Service Delivery, Advocacy, and Financial Sustainability, which are further supported by strategic enablers focused on People and Governance, Processes, and Technology. The primary aim of this initiative is to address the digital divide, encourage innovation, and elevate Fiji’s status as the leading ICT hub in the Pacific region.

During the launch, Mr. Kamikamica emphasized that the strategic plan exemplifies TAF’s commitment to strengthening the telecommunications sector.
