InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has been chosen to host the AdventureNEXT Fiji conference scheduled for November. This event, organized in partnership with Tourism Fiji and the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), represents a pivotal step in promoting Fiji as a leading destination for adventure tourism.
Lachlan Walker, the Portfolio General Manager for IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed excitement about hosting the conference. It is anticipated that tour operators, travel agents, and media representatives from across the globe will attend to discover Fiji’s distinct adventure offerings.
AdventureNEXT aims to elevate emerging destinations in the adventure travel sector and provides local suppliers with an opportunity to connect with international buyers and media at a large tour operator marketplace.
The two-day event is set to occur from November 20 to 22 and is projected to inject over $1 million into Fiji’s visitor economy.
