Fiji Schools Shine at Suva Zone One Athletics: A Preview of Greatness!

Ratu Sukuna Memorial School and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School (MGM) are excelling at the current Suva Zone One Athletics competition, maintaining their top positions in the boys’ and girls’ divisions, respectively.

RSMS is leading the boys’ competition with an impressive medal tally of three gold, four silver, and four bronze. The second place is held by Christian Mission Fellowship with three gold, three silver, and one bronze, while Sacred Heart College ranks third with three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.

On the girl’s side, MGM is dominating the events, having secured a remarkable 11 gold medals, accompanied by seven silver and four bronze. RSMS follows in the second position with five gold, two silver, and four bronze, and CMF is in third place, totaling two gold, one silver, and one bronze.

The Suva Zone One Athletics competition is currently being broadcast live on FBC Sports, enhancing visibility and excitement surrounding the events. This year’s competition not only celebrates the athletic prowess of the participating schools but also fosters a sense of unity and sportsmanship among students.

Looking forward, the anticipation for the upcoming National Championship Coca-Cola Games, scheduled for April 24-26 at HFC Bank Stadium, adds to the excitement, as these events are vital in showcasing and nurturing the talent of young athletes in Fiji.
