Fiji Schoolboys Triumph Again: A Stunning Victory Over Australian Rivals!

The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 team secured a thrilling victory over their Australian rivals for the second time, triumphing 34-25 at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

After experiencing a loss of 26-14 to the Fijians the previous week, the Australian team aimed for redemption and started strong, initially leading 10-0 with a converted try and a penalty.

However, the Fiji Schoolboys quickly responded, showcasing their skills by scoring three tries through Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, along with a penalty kick from Isikeli Bari, concluding the first half with a 22-10 advantage.

In the second half, the Australian Schoolboys came back determined and managed to close the gap with an additional ten points. Winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade each scored tries, but it was not enough to overcome Fiji’s lead, allowing the Fiji Schoolboys to claim victory and win the two-match series.
