The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys rugby team has announced its 30-player roster for an upcoming showdown against the Australian Schoolboys in two highly anticipated matches this weekend.
In the front row, props Jone Buadromo, Marika Koroi, Rupeni Nuinui, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Osea Dasalusalu are expected to make a strong impression, complemented by hookers Rafaele Dagaga and Waisake Vakacere.
The lock positions will be filled by Sosiceni Waqa, Savenaca Nabati, Saimone Vaisova, John Jikoibau, and Savenaca Qabale, who will enhance the team’s scrum strength.
The loose forwards include flankers Isoa Koroinawai, Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, Samuela Tuidraki, and Sireli Nete, adding further dynamism to the squad.
The halfback duties will be shared among Meli Waqairadovu, Isikeli Bari, and Ame Sagata.
Anare Tabakaucoro will lead the attack from the first five-eighth position, while Joji Lutumailagi and Maleli Nauvasi will play key roles as inside centres.
In the centre, Emosi Nuku and Asaeli Gade will bring physicality to the team.
On the wings, Ilaitia Rakuro, Nathan Stephens, and Duacake Vulainabuwaha are ready to shine, and the fullback positions will be manned by Charles Salakikoro, Josaia Ralulu, and Elima Tolatu.
