The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys rugby team has announced its 30-member squad set to compete against the Australian Schoolboys in two highly anticipated matches this weekend.
In the front row, props Jone Buadromo, Marika Koroi, Rupeni Nuinui, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Osea Dasalusalu are expected to play pivotal roles, backed by hookers Rafaele Dagaga and Waisake Vakacere.
The locks, consisting of Sosiceni Waqa, Savenaca Nabati, Saimone Vaisova, John Jikoibau, and Savenaca Qabale, will contribute significantly to the team’s scrum strength.
The loose forwards include flankers Isoa Koroinawai, Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, Samuela Tuidraki, and Sireli Nete, adding dynamism to the team.
Meli Waqairadovu, Isikeli Bari, and Ame Sagata will fill the halfback positions, while Anare Tabakaucoro is set to orchestrate the game from the first five-eighth role. Joji Lutumailagi and Maleli Nauvasi will compete as strong inside centres.
Emosi Nuku and Asaeli Gade will bring physicality to the centre positions. On the flanks, wingers Ilaitia Rakuro, Nathan Stephens, and Duacake Vulainabuwaha are ready to showcase their skills, and the fullback spots will be occupied by Charles Salakikoro, Josaia Ralulu, and Elima Tolatu.
