The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys rugby team has announced its 30-player squad, ready to compete against the Australian Schoolboys in two highly anticipated matches this weekend.
In the front row, props Jone Buadromo, Marika Koroi, Rupeni Nuinui, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Osea Dasalusalu are expected to make a strong impression, with hookers Rafaele Dagaga and Waisake Vakacere providing additional support.
Locks Sosiceni Waqa, Savenaca Nabati, Saimone Vaisova, John Jikoibau, and Savenaca Qabale will bolster the scrum’s strength.
The loose forward positions feature a dynamic lineup, including flankers Isoa Koroinawai, Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, Samuela Tuidraki, and Sireli Nete.
Halfbacks Meli Waqairadovu, Isikeli Bari, and Ame Sagata will manage the game from their positions. Anare Tabakaucoro will lead the team from the first five-eighth role, with Joji Lutumailagi and Maleli Nauvasi playing key roles as inside centres.
In the centre positions, Emosi Nuku and Asaeli Gade are set to provide physicality.
Wingers Ilaitia Rakuro, Nathan Stephens, and Duacake Vulainabuwaha are ready to shine on the flanks, while Charles Salakikoro, Josaia Ralulu, and Elima Tolatu will cover the fullback positions.
