The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys rugby team has announced their 30-member squad, ready to compete against the Australian Schoolboys in two highly anticipated matches this weekend.
In the front row, props Jone Buadromo, Marika Koroi, Rupeni Nuinui, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Osea Dasalusalu are expected to make a notable impact, with hookers Rafaele Dagaga and Waisake Vakacere providing support.
The locks, comprising Sosiceni Waqa, Savenaca Nabati, Saimone Vaisova, John Jikoibau, and Savenaca Qabale, will bolster the scrum’s strength.
Among the loose forwards, flankers Isoa Koroinawai, Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula, Samuela Tuidraki, and Sireli Nete will add dynamism to the team’s play.
The halfback duties will be handled by Meli Waqairadovu, Isikeli Bari, and Ame Sagata.
Anare Tabakaucoro will lead the team from the first five-eighth position, while Joji Lutumailagi and Maleli Nauvasi will serve as solid inside centres.
In the centre roles, Emosi Nuku and Asaeli Gade are set to bring physicality to the game.
Wingers Ilaitia Rakuro, Nathan Stephens, and Duacake Vulainabuwaha are ready to make their mark on the flanks, and the fullback positions will be filled by Charles Salakikoro, Josaia Ralulu, and Elima Tolatu.
