The Vodafone Fiji School Boys are intensifying their training as they get ready for their eagerly awaited match against the Australian School Boys this weekend. The team has been dedicated to enhancing their skills on a daily basis, concentrating on both physical fitness and tactical strategies.
Recently, the players have been training at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes to improve their endurance and strength. Forward Waisake Vakacere expressed his appreciation for the demanding training sessions, stating, “We are grateful for these training sessions that are happening every day, so yes, we think that the boys are up to the Fiji rugby standard.”
Vakacere also emphasized that the team is honing their set-piece strategies in anticipation of their opponents. He remarked, “We know some of the factors that the Australians will bring, especially in set-piece moves, so the boys are working hard on that for the game against Australia.”
