Fiji Rugby Union Ushers in New Era with Fresh Leadership

The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) recently concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM), resulting in the formal transition of governance and operational responsibilities to seven newly elected board members. The new board includes Mosese Naivalu as the Legal Director, John Sanday and Tevita Tuiloa as Commercial Directors, Cathy Wong as the Women’s Director, and Koli Sewabu and Conway Beg as Rugby Directors.

Current FRU Trustees, including Peter Mazey, Jenny Setto, Sikeli Tuinamuana, Alipate Naiorosui, and Mosese Naivalu, expressed their satisfaction with the progress made during their terms, as they passed on leadership to the new team. Under their management, the union achieved significant advancements by addressing historical issues, engaging with stakeholders, and establishing a robust foundation for the future.
