The Fiji Rugby Union has reached a decisive conclusion regarding the future of the Fiji 7s program following a comprehensive evaluation of the team’s performances in the HSBC 7s Series and the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
Today, FRU’s Interim Chairman Peter Mazey announced that Osea Kolinisau will remain the coach of the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team.
Kolinisau is set to lead the Men’s Sevens Team for the next four years.
Mazey emphasized that Kolinisau’s impressive achievements over the past four months highlight his capability and vision for the team’s future. He expressed enthusiasm about the potential of the Men’s Sevens Team under Kolinisau’s ongoing leadership and their commitment to securing a gold medal at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
