Fiji Rugby Union General Manager Resignation Shakes Up Team Dynamics

BJ Mather has resigned from his position as General Manager of the Fiji Rugby Union High-Performance Unit due to personal commitments. Peter Mazey, Chairman of the FRU Trust Board, has confirmed Mather’s departure and plans to discuss it further. Mather recently accompanied the Flying Fijians during the Pacific Nations Cup finals. In the interim, Bill Gadolo will serve as the Acting HPU General Manager. Mazey also reported that the position will be advertised, as it is funded by World Rugby. “We are required to advertise the position since it’s a World Rugby paid role. When we do, I hope Bill takes over, as he has worked closely with BJ and Simon, and I’m looking forward to working with him,” Mazey stated.
