The Fiji Rugby Union has reached a conclusive decision regarding the future of the Fiji 7s program following a detailed evaluation of the team’s performance in the HSBC 7s Series and Paris 2024.
FRU Interim Chairman Peter Mazey announced that Osea Kolinisau will remain as the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team.
Kolinisau’s tenure as Head Coach of the Men’s Sevens Team will extend for the next four years.
“Kolinisau’s impressive results over the past four months have demonstrated his capability and vision for the future,” Mazey stated.
He expressed excitement regarding the potential of the Men’s Sevens Team under Kolinisau’s leadership and reiterated their commitment to capturing gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
