The Fiji Rugby Union has reached a conclusive decision regarding the future of the Fiji 7s program following an in-depth evaluation of the team’s performances in both the HSBC 7s Series and the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
Interim Chairman Peter Mazey announced today that Osea Kolinisau will remain as the head coach of the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team. Kolinisau’s tenure as head coach will extend for the next four years.
Mazey highlighted Kolinisau’s remarkable results over the past few months, which showcase his competence and vision for the team’s future. He expressed enthusiasm for the potential of the Men’s Sevens Team under Kolinisau’s ongoing direction and emphasized their commitment to striving for gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
