Team Fiji men’s rugby sevens player Kaminieli Rasaku is set to play for a French ProD2 club following the Paris Olympic Games. Grenoble has announced Rasaku as one of their new recruits for the upcoming season.
In other team movements, veteran Flying Fijian duo Jale Vatubua and Aminiasi Tuimaba are leaving the French Top 14 club Pau. Vatubua has signed with ProD2 club Dax, while Tuimaba has joined Beziers.
French Top 14 club Oyonnax has added Peniame Narisia from Racing 92, Veresa Ramototabua from Mont-de-Marsan, and Eddie Sawailau from Perpignan to their squad.
Former Fiji-born New Zealand sevens rugby winger Joe Ravouvou has departed Oyonnax to join ProD2 club Bourgoin.
Montpellier has released utility player Masivesi Dakuwaqa, who has now signed with ProD2 club Biarritz, while centre Christa Powell, previously with Aurillac, has also joined the club.
Strong-running Castres winger Filipo Nakosi has moved to join ProD2 club Vannes.
