Fiji Rugby has unveiled a formidable team to represent the country at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The squad, selected by Head Coach Osea Kolinisau, will vie for the Olympic title later this month.
Kolinisau, who compiled the 15-member squad, noted the unique challenges of the Olympic games and admitted they would need to adjust to the international stage’s rhythm and flow given their limited preparation time. Regardless, he expressed confidence in the squad’s talent and experience.
Among the squad members is Jerry Tuwai, a 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games gold medalist, lending the team his wealth of experience. Fiji Rugby believes the squad’s mix of seasoned professionals and fresh talent will step up to the challenge and make their nation proud in Paris.
