The Coalition Government has fulfilled its promise to the Fiji rugby 7s players by granting $20,000 to each member of the team that secured a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This reward is part of an incentive program introduced by the government in June, which awards $50,000 for gold, $20,000 for silver, and $10,000 for bronze medalists. The funds will be transferred to the Fiji Rugby Union, which will ensure the money is deposited directly into the players’ bank accounts. The Coalition Government congratulates the team on their success at the Paris Olympics and anticipates their ongoing achievements in the sport.
