The Coalition Government has honored its commitment to reward the Fiji rugby 7s players for their remarkable achievement at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The team, which secured a silver medal, has been given $20,000 each as part of an incentive program that was approved by the Coalition Government in June.
The payments were facilitated through the Fiji Rugby Union, which received the funds and will proceed to deposit the money directly into the players’ bank accounts.
This financial reward is intended as a gesture of gratitude for the athletes’ exceptional performance and their significant contribution to the nation’s sporting accomplishments.
The Coalition Government once again congratulates the Fiji rugby 7s team on their silver medal victory and extends best wishes for their future endeavors.
