The Coalition Government has honored its commitment to reward the Fiji rugby 7s players for their remarkable achievement at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Each member of the silver medal-winning team received $20,000, as part of an incentive program that was sanctioned and announced by the Coalition Government in June.
The Fiji Rugby Union, which received the funds yesterday, will ensure that the payments are deposited directly into the players’ bank accounts.
This financial reward is intended to express appreciation for the players’ exceptional contributions to the nation’s sporting triumphs.
The Coalition Government extends its congratulations to the Fiji rugby 7s team once more on their silver medal success and wishes them ongoing achievement in their future pursuits.
